With no single culture to define her, Katy has had the fortune of absorbing many. Growing up in Tanzania and later living across different countries made shifting perspective second nature, a practice that only deepened through her study of sociology.
Her career has moved between hospitality, travel consultancy, policy analysis, disability care and content creation, yet it always circles the same core: communication, and the strange, necessary work of turning private thought into something others can understand.
Artistic and creative, writing has long been her favourite medium for turning lived experience into something people can recognise and respond to.
