2. What data we collect and why

Enquiries and call-back requests

When you contact us through the form on our contact page, we ask for your name, sex, country, email address and, if you wish, your phone number, a preferred moment for a call and your message. We use these details only to answer your enquiry and, if you ask for it, to plan an exploratory meeting. The legal basis is the steps you ask us to take before a possible membership agreement.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we keep your email address and, if you give them, your first and last name. We send you news from Ivy only with your consent, and every newsletter contains a link to unsubscribe.

Use of the website

With your consent, we use cookies and similar technologies to measure how the website is used and to show embedded content. You will find the details in section 7.

Members

Personal data of our members, including the information shared during the intake interview, are not collected through this website. They are covered by the membership agreement and the separate privacy notice members receive. [Confirm, or add the member privacy notice here]

3. Who we share your data with

We never sell your data and never pass it on for other parties’ own purposes. We only work with service providers that process data on our behalf and under our instructions:

• Mailchimp (Intuit) sends our newsletter.
• Google provides Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager for statistics, and YouTube for embedded videos.
• Cloudflare provides Turnstile, which keeps spam and bots out of our forms without setting cookies.
• Meta (Facebook) measures the results of our campaigns, only if you accept advertisement cookies.
• Issuu shows our magazine publications.

4. Data outside the EU

Some of these providers are based in the United States. Where data leave the European Economic Area, this happens under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission. [Confirm per provider]

5. How long we keep your data

7. Cookies

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Necessary cookies are always on, because the website cannot work without them; among them we also keep one item in your browser’s local storage, newsletter-popup, so the newsletter pop-up does not come back once you have closed it. All other cookies are only set after you have given your consent, which you can change at any time.
